Bio Masseria Santa Lucia – Alessano

The Bio Masseria Santa Lucia is an ancient farmhouse located in Salento, dating back to the 5th century AD when it was inhabited by Basilian monks. Now referred to as the “Agrimuseum of Puglia“, the property has been carefully restored and hosts a variety of cultural activities, a restaurant, and a swimming pool. It is nestled within the park of the rock settlement of Macurano, near Alessano and the village of Montesardo. Macurano is a highly valuable and important archaeological site, as it preserves evidence of settlement forms typical of the Greco-Byzantine culture, later transformed into underground oil mills.

Located 8 km from Santa Maria di Leuca and just 3 km from the sea, the farmhouse is in the heart of Salento’s nature and a short distance from the region's historical sites.
